Bowie Crijns
Chief of the Los Santos Police Department
''Citizens of Los Santos, It is a great time of the year for both myself and the department on the beneficial side of enforcing, assisting and progressing the Los Santos Police Department back to the successful state. I feel privileged to be participating in a great role in the department to bring not only my ideas forward but the departments ideas together. I would say I am in complete shock, but showing the support others have shown around me as made me prepare for the position itself. Together as one department we will progress as one, we will be as one and we are going to succeed as a entire department.
Over the next few weeks the department is going to be tough. Not only tough for myself but tough for other officers around us. I plan on enforcing more rules rather than forcing officers to revise new implementations. All ideas in the police force will be taken into consideration and everyone’s opinion is going to be spoken freely. Regardless to whether it takes 2 days or 2 weeks, we will succeed and continue to prove our abilities in the department. At the end of the day, everyone in the Los Santos Police Department have the ability to achieve something. As Chief of Police, I am going to be giving everyone the ability to meet their departmental goal and lifetime achievement.
After complete knowledge in the department and serving many years, I have complete and correct figures on what I want to achieve. Officers will be preassured under my authority, but yet officers will hopefully respect the decisions I make. Officers will stand by to prove the specific qualities of the department. I admit, the department will have it’s times where people are leaving. However, I freely speak on behalf of myself, the command and high command team to mention that if any officer is not here to succeed or assist the department in any beneficial way; I will show you the door.
Everyone is going to be here to prove their real abilities, everyone will be here t extend the departments reputation positively. Everyone will now onwards progress their professionalism, set a good reputation, be respectful and honorable. Mainly, the department is going to Protect and Serve without failure.''

The early years
The Los Santos Police Division has been opened first as a volunteer constrain that has supported Red District and Rock Region and was named as 'The Los Santos Officers', in 1853. The production of what freely may be known as the City's first Police Division came about because of a murder that has accured in 1853. The victimized person was Jack Whaling, the group's second City Marshal. His executioner met passing on account of an abundance seeker. This provoked the City's first "Boss," Dr. A.W. Trust, to arrange "The Los Santos Officers," who volunteered to support the ambushed Region Sheriff and Marshal. The Officers were distinguished by a white strip bearing the engraving in both English and Spanish "City Police - Approved by the Board of Los Santos."
"The Los Santos City Protects," who, amid their fleeting profession, were attired in the City's first official police uniform, succeeded the Officers. Like the Officers, their viability was flawed. Homicides were happening at the rate of one a day, numerous subsequent from contrasts of assessment voiced inside the City's 400 betting corridors. The principal paid power was made in 1869 when six officers were enlisted and paid out of trusts gathered, generally, from fines and charges. They were driven by City Marshal William C. Warren. In 1875 the first steed watch jogged down the unpaved lanes. Staff were paid $95 a month for their administrations, $5 more than the foot patrolmen and just $10 not exactly the City Marshal. In 1886, the Division enlisted its initial two African-American officers, Robert William Stewart and Roy Green. By the mid 1900s the number of inhabitants in the City had expanded to more than 100,000, with less than 70 officers attempting to keep up the peace.
Amid World War II the general number of staff was exhausted by the requests of the military - in this manner there was a little effect of the LSPD upon the Zoot Suit Revolts in 1943.
In 1950, Villiam H. Pershing has been designated as Head of Police and has bolstered police polished skill and self-sufficiency from non military personnel organization. Be that as it may, the Ridiculous Christmas outrage in 1951 prompted calls for non military personnel responsibility and an end to asserted police mercilessness. William H. Pershing has served as Head of Police until he kicked the bucket at 1966 because of a lethal heart assault. Not long after the area of the LSPD Principle Organization Office Building has been named after him; Pershing Square. Under Pershing, Investigator Daryl Entryways likewise made the first SWAT (Extraordinary Weapons and Strategies) group in United States law implementation.
Year 2009
The Los Santos Police Office is a little division in the begin of 2009 and an exceptionally un-arrange police division. In the seat on top of everything is Head of Police Jake Jackson sitting. After the city board chose to give Boss Jackson the chance to either hand over an individual renunciation or be despicable release for the absence of work he was doing in the office. He chose to turn in his identification and sent in his abdication in July 2009. Right now the board chose to advance both the standing Vice president's in the LSPD to Head of Police. First and final time in the historical backdrop of the Los Santos Police Division was it ran by two Boss' in the meantime. This was additionally another standing point for the office as they needed to re-compose the entire LSPD into another division. There was no units, divisions or even institutes at the time as everything must be assemble starting from the earliest stage. Toward the end of December 2009 more confounding issues came up as Summoning staff didn't know which boss to turn their issues to. The prepare to leave chose at the time to evacuate both current Boss and exchange the Associate Head of Police in Las Venturas over to Los Santos, Dexter Thompson. At the time Enzo DiCaprioso exchange and turned into the Head of Police in San Fierro.
Year 2010
It's another year and without knowing it this year will be a grievous lose for both the Los Santos Police Division and the city. Be that as it may, the year begin with an enormous test as the San Andreas Sheriff Division is being shaped outside in Red Region. Without precedent for the Condition of San Andreas is a Sheriff Office being framed and by and by the Sheriff is Jake Jackson the ex-head of LSPD in mid 2009. San Andreas Sheriff Division is simply remaining on their feet for a couple of months before its being closed down, Since it was closed down in mid 2010 have we the state never had another Sheriff Office. In mid-May 2010 the Head of Police Dexter Phoenix and Vice president Devid Webb is flying with the police helicopter where they make a crisis arrival on top of a rooftop in downtown Los Santos. Head of Police Phoenix was push over the edge at the rooftop by his own particular Vice president and kicked the bucket by the fall. Webb report the demise as a mischance as the Boss tumbled off the building without anyone else. The nearby FBI Office in Los Santos began the examination on the demise of Dexter Phoenix, Simply a couple of days after the passing Vice president Devid Webb was captured by the FBI and sentence to life time in San Andreas Prison. The division and city was in stun after the free of two High Summon staff in the LSPD. Authority Lunnes Diaz turned into the acting Boss till another was appointed by the board. In the mid year 2010 the city of Los Santos endure a few exhibits where the individuals partaking in this got to be forceful and began a few mobs once again the late spring. The LSPD began in 2010 giving extraordinary preparing to all their Cops on the most proficient method to work and act inside mobs.
Year 2011
It was in 1st of January 2011 the Condition of San Andreas declared that all vehicles must be enrolled with a legitimate licenses plate. Inability to do as such will get your vehicle appropriated by the police. This was a significant mission for the cops obligation just after the new year. Altogether was more than 60 vehicles appropriated by the police for inability to enroll it to the DMV and get a substantial licenses plate. Counting three cops got their vehicle appropriated and verbal cautioning from their Chief. Amid the late spring of 2011 two cops was researched by the inside undertakings for abuse of police power and battery charges in the wake of endeavoring to get data out of a pack part. This changed the police division, as both officers was called to the Boss' office and began to contend with the High Summon one of the officers hauled out a weapon and a serious circumstance occurred inside the police headquarters. In the wake of endeavoring to talk down one of the officers he shot himself in the head and kicked the bucket immediately, the other officer was captured by the police and offensive released from the power. After the mid year 2011 Boss Shane made one of the greatest association changes in the office when he doled out in the first agencies & workplaces. Holding just about the same association style throughout the previous two years have been demonstrating the police office on alot more expert and stable level.
Year 2012
The year 2012 was a hard year for each cop that served the Los Santos Police Office. 2012 was the year that was going to change the Los Santos Police Office to a brilliant stage. With diligent work from all Cops that served the LSPD they executed a few operations that will dependably be recollected. This was the first year the police office would hold more concentrate on the group and demonstrate to them self as inviting. As everybody know the pack issues in East Los Santos have developed and developed subsequent to 2009 and in 2012 it turned into a significant issue for the police office. As open connection put every one of their center to select more officers that was conceived and bring up in the East Los Santos. Might 27th 2012, Officer Pete Williams & Phil Roberts was the first officers in the historical backdrop of Los Santos Police Office to be given Boss' Own Grant. Amid the opening of the LSPD Preparing Center was them two given the recompense for the progressions and work they accomplished for the LSPD.
Year 2013
The Los Santos Police Division is showing itself as a current police compel as should be obvious time is stopping by and changes are occurring. Amid year 2013 LSPD's first female officer have made it to an instructing rank, Lieutenant Brittany Contelliano. LSPD High Summon expressed that on the off chance that she proceed with the way she is going that may be the history's first female High Charge part. The LSPD High Order staff alongside the Investigator Department is putting their concentrate in year 2013 on usurping of opiates and getting huge measure of opiates of the road. As the LSPD have impacted the world forever they have both made two noteworthy bust amid the year of 2013. Two Investigators from the Investigator Department taked in two diverse operation 1,000 Grams of Cocaine and 1,000 Grams of Weed. These operation left a mark on the world in the division as the greatest sting operation for the office. The Analyst driving the operation was Investigator Jonas Andersen, a regarded criminologist inside the Los Santos Police Division. Toward the end of 2013 was a real cut in the divisions subsidizing that prompted an extensive number of officers being un-utilized inside the office. It wasn't before the begin of 2014 these officers was given an opportunity to return to the division.
Year 2014
First and foremost of 2014 a ton of officers was reestablished once again into the power, we saw a great deal of changes inside the Charge and High order and we had three new cheifs in only one year. 2014 was a year where a considerable measure of changes were done to the office. New divisions, units, authoritative leaders were employed, some were evacuated. Previous Head of Police Justin Shane, Brian Toreno and Kasper Hughes all surrendered amid 2014. The quantity of enlisted officers went down in 2014 and one of the divisions objectives in 2015 is to raise the number again so we can have more peace officers out in the boulevards of Los Santos to make the city significantly more protected then it is today.

LSPD Internal Affairs Division

LSPD Internal Affairs Division
________________________________
The Internal Affairs Division section of the LSPD is a internal department that investigates suspected corrupt acts by employeed peace keepers. The Internal Affairs Division operates as the investigative arm of the Chief of Police to identify and report corruption and employee behavior that tends to discredit the Department or violate a Department policy, procedure or practice. To maintain the public confidence, all complaints must be thoroughly and impartially investigated. The Internal Affairs also conducts Board of Rights hearings and reviews all complaint investigations for consistency and fairness. Complaints are presented to the Chief of Police for a fair and appropriate adjudication and /or sanction, with consideration given to the complainant, the Department, the individual employee, and the public trust.
As police officers are employed to serve the public, most of the misconduct is carried out where there's plenty of witnesses and cameras. Therefor we trust, and rely on you as a fellow citizen to report any witnessed misconduct done by police officers. For the complaint to be justified we require as much information and evidence as possible. Badge numbers, names, camera footage and so on are valued highly, and including them in your report will maximize the effect of the outcome of your report. Some reports may even land you an award, depending on the seriousness of the crime and the outcome.
Once you've filed a complaint, a casefile is created and assigned to an appropriate agent. A deadline is usually set to make sure that the misconduct gets dealt with in reasonable time. To assure that all reports are handled as impartially as possible and that the IA is held to a high standard, our Agents are hand-picked by the Director of the IA along with the Chief of Police.
Our tasks varies, so an Agent can find himself doing anything from handling casefiles to out on the field investigations. We're practically the Police within the Police, making sure that no laws are broken by police officers and that authority is not abused by respective employees.

Patrol & Operation Bureau
________________________________
The Patrol & Operation bureau is a very significant bureau inside the Los Santos Police Department. This bureau is noticed both internal and external in the police department. The Patrol & Operation bureau is the visual part of the police department. This includes the metropolitan division and the patrol division, aswell as protocols, regulations and items such as Wanted Fugitives and internal requests.
The first division under the Patrol & Operation bureau is the patrol division. The patrol division is operated by a lieutenant and includes the various internal time shifts in the Los Santos Police Department, the various internal divisions that officers are placed in and various internal trainings. The patrol division is also responsible for spreading out the activity over the several time shifts. The time shifts are dayshift and nightshift, also called AM watch and PM watch. Apart from those there's also a division for detectives and a division for LSPD command, as officers in those divisions are not placed in any of the time shifts due to their variety of work.
The AM watch and PM watch all have their own commanding officer(CO). A CO is either a SLO or a sergeant. The CO's are to evaluate both the activity and performance of all officers in their division and send in a weekly evaluation report to the Director of the Patrol & Operation bureau as well as the Lieutenant in charge of the Patrol division. This helps the LSPD command team to make the right decisions about the promotions of officers to ensure that only the best officers are given a higher and more responsible position in the police department.
A second division under the patrol & operation bureau is the metropolitan division also known as the metro division. This division has a number of four units below the air support unit, strike team and special weapon and tactics. These units mostly operate under special operations in the field and are only called in when the regular patrol units can not handle the situation. The air support unit is also used to assist ground units in regular patrol and is use in a day-to-day basis. They also assist in search and rescue mission state wide.
Apart from the divisions in the Patrol & Operation bureau the Patrol & Operation bureau is also in charge of the various internal requests as division transfers, requests of warrants and probationary officer evaluation/promotion. This is done by both the director of the Patrol & Operation bureau and the lieutenant of the Patrol Division.
